In May Taylor was selected to attend the Team USA 17U Trials, she competed with some of the best basketball players in the country.

Taylor Stroud is a player who possesses the work ethic, skills and desire to play basketball at the next level. She can score, rebound and defend. Offensively, Taylor has the ability to get to the basket and hit the outside perimeter shot. She is an excellent rebounder who has a nose for the ball on both ends of the floor and defensively is a good on the ball defender.

Taylor has commited to Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana where she will be continuing her basketball career while Majoring in Business with a Sports Managment Concentration, She would like to go on and become an Athletic Director at the College Level.
Taylor was selected to play in three major showcase events this summer - starting with July 8th she was selected to compete in the Under Armour Nationals All American Camp, where there were two rising seniors picked from each club program, they were then put on teams and played two hard fought games with other All American all stars selected throughout the event, they played hard battled, truly was an awesome event to be apart of. Second Taylor was selected to compete in the IBCA Top 100 Underclassmen showcase in Indianapolis, she represented her high school West Washington with hard work ethic, and battled in every game she played, it was a full day of events as they went through 90 minutes of skill stations and college type drills and then played in their games the rest of the day, Taylor did what she is good at and that was drive and penetrate, with kicks assists, also went to the line multiple times and rebounded well all day long. The last event Taylor was selected for was probably one of the best events she has ever been apart of, she was selected to compete in the Best of the Best Sensational 60 showcase with 59 other top players from all over the United States, there plenty of College Coaches on hand to watch exciting games all day, Taylor did a phenomal job as one of the only girls from a smaller 1A school competing with much bigger and more athletic players she held her own as she always does and played very well.
Taylor has been using The Noah Basketball Instant Shooting System, www.noahbasketball.com and her current Noah Basketball Best Session is Expert III with an average of Expert I.
Taylor played very well while in Colorado, unfortunately did not make the team, but definitely made the most of the opportunity. She did exactly what was expected of her and was able to get out and run with some of the best players in the country, Well done Taylor we are very proud of you!
Taylor while at Rick Bolus High Potential Mini camp for the second year in a row earned the 110% Effort award. Great job Taylor keep playing hard!

Taylor has been selected to the Indiana Class 1A South Junior All Star Team Vs. North All Star team being played on March 14 in Lebanon, Indiana. Taylor was again selected to play in the Indiana Class 1A Indiana All Stars Vs. Ohio All Stars which she participated in last season, being played on April 4th in Knightstown, Indiana. Great Job Taylor!
